HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TEAM RESULTS

Winners in the high-kick portion of the Minnesota State High School League Girls' Dance Team Tournament Saturday night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul were:

Class A: Yellow Medicine East's team won top honors. Cannon Falls was second and Aitkin third.

Class AA: St. Cloud Cathedral came in first. Totino-Grace, in Fridley, was second and Faribault third.

Class AAA: Burnsville was the champion. Chaska was second and Eastview, in Apple Valley, third.

Winners in Friday's jazz portion were:

Class A: Duluth Marshall first, Bird Island-Olivia-Lake Lillian second, Yellow Medicine East third, Pequot Lakes fourth, Zumbrota-Mazeppa fifth and New Ulm Cathedral sixth.

Class AA: Benilde-St. Margaret's first, Totino-Grace second, Spring Lake Park third, St. Cloud Cathedral fourth, Sartell St. Stephens fifth and Simley, in Inver Grove Heights, sixth.

Class AAA: Maple Grove first, Wayzata second, Blaine third, Mounds View fourth, Eden Prairie fifth and Eastview sixth.
