Two more teenagers were arrested Friday in the stabbing death of a 70-year-old woman in her north Minneapolis home, police said.

The 15- and 16-year-old brothers were being held in the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. Authorities, who released no other details about the suspects, have until Tuesday to file charges in the case. They expect to recommend that the suspects be charged as adults.

On Wednesday, police found the body of Pirkko Gaultney, who had bled to death. Their initial arrest was of a 15-year-old Minneapolis boy on suspicion of murder. That teen's father said his son had Gaultney's credit card. Gaultney had lived in the house in the 3600 block of Fremont Avenue N. for more than 20 years.

On Friday, the two teens were picked up by the department's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in Plymouth. Robbinsdale School District Superintendent Stan Mack said the 15-year-old had been a student at Robbinsdale Cooper until January, when he transferred to Armstrong.

Both students have been enrolled in the Robbinsdale District since ninth grade. They are both in 10th grade. Police said all the suspects know one another. None has a gang affiliation or an extensive criminal history, police said.
