About the ban

Last update: February 13, 2008 - 10:01 PM

• La Rive is one of the first condominium buildings in Minnesota to go smoke-free. Most residential smoking restrictions have been for rental apartments.

• The ban applies to all individual units and common areas.

• Current owners who want the option to smoke will be grandfathered in after the ban goes into effect May 1.

• Owners and real estate agents will have to notify prospective buyers of the ban, which will become part of the homeowners association's rules and regulations.
