Senser trial: Tuesday's developments

• The Amy Senser jury received the case at 12:35 p.m. Jurors suspended deliberations for the night at 7.

• The jury is sequestered until it reaches a verdict.

• So far the jury has asked the judge one question: At what point did she have to know she had hit someone?

• Judge Daniel Mabley told jurors knowledge must exist at the time of the accident or immediately afterward.

COMING WEDNESDAY

The jury is scheduled to resume deliberations at 9 a.m.

THE CHARGES

Senser is charged with three criminal vehicular homicide counts, each weighted equally:

Leaving the scene.

Failing to call for help immediately.

Operating the vehicle in a grossly negligent manner, alleging she was on her cellphone at the time of the crash.

If Senser is convicted of all three counts, state guidelines call for a four-year prison sentence.

The jury may also consider a lesser charge of careless driving.
