YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES

After closing all outdoor rinks and warming houses in the city last Thursday because of unseasonably warm weather, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is assessing ice conditions and reopening facilities where warranted.
"We're not calling it quits," spokeswoman Dawn Sommers said on Monday.
The public can get information at the Park Board's online Ice Rink Status site, available at www.startribune.com/a1019. As of Monday afternoon, two rinks were listed as open.
Outdoor youth hockey games had been canceled for the rest of the season, replaced by an indoor tournament that began Saturday.
