STATE CAPITOL - VETERANS FOR PEACE: The Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of Veterans for Peace will hold an Armistice Day bell-ringing ceremony commemorating the end of World War I at 11 a.m. Friday near the Veterans Service building at the south end of the State Capitol grounds. A program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with music and readings, followed by the bell ringing at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year of the century. ST. ANTHONY: The new St. Anthony Area Veterans Memorial, created by a committee of local residents with the help of funding raised by local civic groups, will be dedicated at 11 a.m. Friday at the memorial, located at 3401 Silver Lake Road in St. Anthony.
