• How much money from your purchase goes toward breast cancer causes? A specific amount should be posted on the package.
• If the product advertising says "proceeds" -- in general -- will be donated to breast cancer, beware. Anyone can put a pink ribbon on a product and sell it, regardless of whether it benefits breast cancer causes.
• Which breast cancer organization will receive the money? If you have time, check out the organization.
