Eden Prairie store reopens after threat

Von Maur store in Eden Prairie reopens after threat.

Last update: December 10, 2007 - 12:03 AM

An Eden Prairie department store reopened Sunday as police continued to investigate what they called a "suspicious threat" that forced the store to close two hours early Saturday, said Sgt. Chris Wood.

The Von Maur store at the Eden Prairie Center closed just after 7 p.m. Saturday after somebody called in a threat.

No one was injured and at no time were customers or employees in danger, Wood said.

The incident took place just days after a gunman walked into a Von Maur store at the Westroads Mall in Omaha and killed nine people, including himself.
