Traffic began flowing on westbound Interstate 94 near Eau Claire, Wis, early Sunday morning after the road was closed for more than 11 hours because of a fatal crash.

Two semitrailer trucks crashed 4 miles south of Eau Claire about 4:15 p.m. Saturday. One driver was killed.

The scene was cleared by 4 a.m. Sunday.

Killed in the crash was Jeffery D. Moore, 48, of Mooresville, Ind., according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The patrol identified the other driver as Andrey Sasin, 42, of New York. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, the patrol said. No alcohol use was detected, but Sasin was facing an enforcement action, according to the patrol.

No further details of the crash were available.

Five area fire departments and several police agencies, including Eau Claire police and county deputies, assisted the patrol.
