Northern Minnesota accidents kill two

A Howard Lake man died Monday following a collision last week, and a Rosemount man died Monday after his vehicle crashed in a watery ditch. Both accidents were in northern Minnesota.

A Howard Lake man died Monday following a collision last week, and a Rosemount man died Monday after his vehicle crashed in a watery ditch. Both accidents were in northern Minnesota.

Jerome Ostgulen, 80, of Howard Lake, was injured Nov. 5 in a crash on Hwy. 95 in Mille Lacs County. He died Tuesday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Steven A. Ness, 58, of Rosemount, was southbound on Hwy. 72 when his pickup left the road at mile marker 50 in Beltrami County. Ness died soon after at LakeWood Health Center in Baudette, Minn.
