The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be working on the Interstate Hwy. 494 bridge spanning the Minnesota River connecting Bloomington with Eagan, beginning tonight.
Entrances to eastbound I-494 at S. 34th Avenue S. and Hwy. 5 will be closed to allow a maintenance project to get underway at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
By Monday all traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the bridge with two lanes in each direction. The closures will be in effect until late May, MnDOT said.
