Follow local news on TwitterToday: A municipal consent hearing in Minneapolis will give residents, business owners and others a chance to comment on the proposed layout of the new bridge. The hearing begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Thrivent Financial Auditorium, 625 4th Av. S.
By Sept. 30: MnDOT expects to have contract signed, at which time details of the bridge design can be made public.
Early October: MnDOT will schedule open houses to share design with public.
Oct. 15: Estimated start of bridge construction.
