You know the saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure"? Same goes for jobs at the Minnesota State Fair. Here's a sampling of fair's worst jobs, according to staff writer Kara McGuire:
Cleaning up after pigs. (Both the pork and human kinds.)
Picking meat off dozens of turkey carcasses to make tasty sandwiches. (Tedious, and tough on the hands!)
Standing anywhere near a deep fryer. (Sweaty!)
Directing traffic in a parking lot hour after hour after hour. (Boring!)
Manning the balloon-dart game. (Duck!)
Cleaning up puke. (Camaraderie, schmamaraderie. )
Read about how McGuire cleaned up at the fair on her blog: www.startribune.com/blogs/kablog.
