Five teams OK'd to submit bridge bids

All five contracting teams that submitted statements of qualifications to bid on the Interstate 35W bridge project were accepted to submit a proposal and cost estimate, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said Thursday.

All five contracting teams that submitted statements of qualifications to bid on the Interstate 35W bridge project were accepted to submit a proposal and cost estimate, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said Thursday.

The teams are: Ames/Lunda, C.S. McCrossan, Flatiron Constructors/Johnson Bros., KTM Constructors (a joint venture of Kiewitt/Traylor Bros/Massman), and Walsh Construction/American Bridge.

The department said it would offer more information about the teams in the future.
