Police in St. Cloud today are turning to "Pee-wee Herman" in hopes of solving a crime.

According to police:

About 90 minutes after Halloween concluded, police were called to a downtown parking lot and found a 21-year-old man from Clayton, Wis., unconscious and with cuts to his face and head.

Police learned that a male struck the victim and fled with two other males. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and no arrests have been made.

Days later, police were told that a college-age man in a Pee-wee Herman costume witnessed the attack, and they are hoping to interview him.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact police at 1-320-251-1200.
