U cancels classes in 3 buildings after bomb threat

The University of Minnesota has canceled late Tuesday afternoon and evening classes in three West Bank buildings after university police received a bomb threat.

The university said Blegen Hall, the Social Sciences Tower and Anderson Hall were evacuated and closed for the day and evening.

Police searched the buildings and found nothing. Classes will resume Wednesday morning.
