MEetro road construction update

1. Hwy. 52 southbound

The right lane of Hwy. 52 southbound from Interstate 94 to Plato Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday for bridge maintenance. A width limit of 12 feet will be in effect.

2. Hwy. 96 westbound

The right shoulder of Hwy. 96 westbound between Mendel Road and Manning Avenue will be closed from Monday until Oct. 26 for maintenance.

3. Hwy. 121 northbound

Hwy. 121 northbound at I-35W and the Crosstown Hwy. will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for road construction.

I-35W ramp to Hwy. 121/Lyndale Avenue S.

The left-side exit ramp from northbound I-35W to Hwy. 121/Lyndale Avenue S. will be closed Monday and Tuesday until 3:30 p.m. so crews can remove sheet piles as part of the I-35W/Crosstown project. Southbound Hwy. 121, with access to southbound 35W and westbound Hwy. 62, will remain open during the closures. Detour routes will be posted.

4. Paul Parkway

Storm sewer construction requires the closure of Paul Parkway between Hwy. 65 and Ulysses Avenue NE. in Blaine for about three weeks until early November. During the work -- which is part of the reconstruction of Hwy. 65, County Road 14 and surrounding streets -- traffic will detour onto County Road 14 to Ulysses Street NE. Access to businesses will be from Ulysses Street.

5. Interstate 35W

I-35W northbound from exit 16B/I-94 E. to exit 17C/Washington Avenue will be reduced to one lane from 5 a.m. to noon Saturday.

I-94 eastbound at I-35W north

The exit ramp from eastbound I-94 to northbound I-35W will be closed from 5 a.m. to noon Saturday.

6. I-94 eastbound

The right lane of eastbound I-94 from exit 207/Main Street/Hwy. 101 to exit 213/N. 95th Avenue will be closed today until late Saturday afternoon.

7. Hwy. 100 southbound

The left lane of southbound Hwy. 100 from exit 5A/Excelsior Boulevard to 50th Street will be closed at 7 p.m. Sunday until about 5 p.m. Monday.

The left lane of southbound Hwy. 100 from Hwy. 55 to exit 8A/Glenwood will be closed at 7 p.m. Saturday until about 5 p.m. Sunday.

8. Hwy. 280 northbound

The right lane of Hwy. 280 northbound from Broadway Avenue to I-35W will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.
