Warba man pleads guilty to armed robbery

A man from Warba, Minn., pleaded guilty today to two felony armed robbery charges in Itasca County Court.

Dwight Duane King, 54, admitted to robbing the Cohasset SuperAmerica on June 14 and the Blackberry Store outside of Grand Rapids, Minn., on July 15, according to County Attorney John Muhar.

Court documents charged King with one count of first-degree aggravated armed robbery and one count of first-degree attempted aggravated robbery.

King will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 5, Muhar said.
