Two juveniles shooting at a squirrel in St. Louis County aimed toward the highway and accidentally struck a truck driver in the forearm, authorities said.
The 56-year-old man was driving a semitrailer truck north on Hwy. 53 just north of Cusson, Minn., when he was shot with a .22-caliber rifle through the passenger-side window, according to the County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The man drove to International Falls, was treated at a hospital and released. Part of the bullet had exited the man's arm after he was struck, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The juveniles are 11 and 12, authorities said.
