Driver killed in one-car accident that closed I-35W in Lino Lakes

A one-car fatal accident on Interstate 35W in Lino Lakes shut down all or part of the freeway for more than two hours Friday night, the State Patrol said.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol:

A 29-year-old Wisconsin man died in the crash.

Bryan D. White of Osceola, Wis., was driving north a little after 8 p.m. when the car went off the road and rolled through the median into the southbound lanes.

White, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car and died at the scene.

No one else was in the car.
