After enduring the cloudiest first half of October in the past 45 years, we deserve some sunshine.
After enduring the cloudiest first half of October in the past 45 years, we deserve some sunshine.
And the forecast is looking bright.
The sun will shine all week, with the exception of Friday when clouds and showers will prevail. But outside of that, the weather will be conducive for raking leaves, bike riding and this week's high school football playoff games.
Highs today and Tuesday will be in the middle to upper 50s with the mercury expected to soar into the 60s Wednesday and Thursday. After Friday's cloudy and wet weather, the sun will return Saturday and Sunday, with cooler temperatures, with highs in the low 50s, the National Weather Service said.
Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights will likely feel a bit nippy, with lows dipping down into the 30s and possibly near freezing on Friday night, the Weather Service said.
