While overall violent crime is down on the North Side, there have been several recent instances of juveniles either killed or wounded by gunfire.
• Montrell Burbridge, 15, was fatally shot Aug. 7.
• Charez Jones, 14, died in gang crossfire June 9.
• Two boys, ages 14 and 17, suffered gunshot wounds in late May.
