Ramp in Unweave the Weave area reopens

Another sign of progress in the reconstruction of the Interstate Hwy. 694/35E intersection in Vadnais Heights and Little Canada area: The ramp from westbound I-694 to northbound I-35E has reopened.

The ramp has been closed since early August as part of the Unweave the Weave project.

While the ramp was closed, crews were working so that traffic on westbound I-694 will be traveling on permanent pavement at the east end of the project by winter, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
