YOUR GUIDE TO THE TWIN CITIES
Four people were killed Tuesday afternoon in Isanti County in an accident involving a semitrailer truck and two cars.
About 2:30 p.m. a car traveling north on Dolphin Street NW. and the semi going east on Hwy. 95 collided 6 miles east of Princeton, said Lt. Mark Peterson of the Minnesota State Patrol. A third car then hit them. Although the road was wet at the time, it was not clear whether that was a factor.
All three people in the first car and the driver of the second car were dead at the scene. The semi driver, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton and later released.
Names, ages and hometowns of the victims were not released Tuesday night. The State Patrol is investigating.
