The state Health Department has a hot line to serve people in southeastern Minnesota who have health-related questions arising from the flood. Call: 1-800-657-3903. Hours: today-Friday, 2-4:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, noon-4 p.m.; Monday-Tuesday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

A "free store" will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the rest of the week at the former car dealership Underdahl Toyota on Huff Street in Winona. For more information, call 1-507-457-6526.

Information about state highway closures in the area is available on the MnDOT website at www.511mn.org or by calling 511.

The United Way and the Salvation Army accept donations. Make checks out to "United Way Disaster Fund" and send to 902 E. Second St., Winona, MN 55987, or to the Salvation Army and send to 2445 Prior Av., Roseville, MN 55113. Write "Minnesota flooding" on the check.
