Chaska police are offering a reward for information leading to the suspects who vandalized and burglarized a city-run golf course last month.

One or more persons forced open a door to the clubhouse of the Chaska Par 30 Golf Course sometime after closing Aug. 17 and before opening Aug. 18. The suspects cut a telephone line to the building at 1207 Hazeltine Dr., and "did general vandalism," said Sgt. John Kehrberg.

The miscreants also took cash and dumped a safe into a pond, Kehrberg said.

A golf course employee discovered the missing cash and the damage when she showed up for work the next morning.

Police are offering a reward of up to $300. Anybody with information can call 952-448-4200.
