Public meetings set on I-35W bridge rebuilding

The public can give its thoughts and opinions on plans to rebuild the Interstate Hwy. 35W bridge during an open house tonight at the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

The public can give their thoughts and opinions on plans to rebuild the Interstate Hwy. 35W bridge during an open house tonight at the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

Representatives and engineers from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will answer questions and take suggestions from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Al Johnson room at the McNamara Alumni Center, 200 SE. Oak St., Mpls.

Similar open houses will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the University of Minnesota's Hubert H. Humphrey Atrium, 301 19th Av. SE., Mpls.

Meetings also will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6 at the IDS Crystal Court, 717 Nicollet Mall, Mpls.
