Contemporary furniture store quitting business

Ligne Roset contemporary furniture store (811 Glenwood Av. N., Minneapolis, 612-374-5555) is closing. Owner John Stedman said that the high-end chain has had difficulty in midsize markets such as Minneapolis. Starting Friday, everything will be discounted 25 percent, including furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories. Roam, the adjacent store carrying Blu Dot merchandise, will not close and its items are not discounted, but it might expand or move, Stedman said. The sale will continue until the store closes in approximately 60 days.
