More retailers for Halloween costumes, decor

Two weeks ago I wrote about temporary Halloween shops that pop up near Halloween. I asked readers to scare up other retailers not included in the original list. Plenty of you wrote in with favorite haunts, mostly year-round shops, for Halloween decor and costumes.

Several readers suggested checking thrift stores such as Unique Thrift, Savers, Value Village, Goodwill and Salvation Army in the spirit of reduce, re-use and recycle.
