GRAPEVINE, Texas — Passengers at a Texas airport can practice doing CPR compressions to the steady beat of the Bee Gees disco song "Stayin' Alive."

The American Heart Association-sponsored automated kiosk was unveiled Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The Dallas-based association joined forces with American Airlines for the Hands-Only CPR kiosk in Terminal C for a six-month test run.

The association says the Bee Gees song has the "perfect beat for proper CPR" using chest compressions and no rescue breaths.

The touch screen video program gives a brief introduction to the steps of Hands-Only CPR, followed by a practice session and a 30-second CPR test on a mannequin. The kiosk provides feedback about the depth, rate of compressions and proper hand placement.
