The magazine is asking readers, diners and celebrity followers to select the nation's best new chefs, culled from a list of 10 names in 10 different regions around the country.
"We're excited to give restaurant-goers across america a chance to give a giant shout-out to their favorite chef," said F&W editor Dana Cowin in a statement.

(Other Midwesterners include Tim Dahl of Nostrano in Madison, Wis.; Alex Pope at R Bar in Kansas City, Mo.; Lee Richardson at Ashley's at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock, Ark.; Carly Grobin of Proof in Des Moines; and three St. Louis bold-faced names: Anthony Devoti of Five, Josh Galliano of Monarch and Kevin Willmann of Farmhaus.
Voting is open through March 1. "We would greatly prefer that you only for chefs whose restaurants you've actually visited, so the 'chef' part of The people's Best New Chef 2011 really holds true," says the website.
