Wine: Domaine Skouras Moscofilero

Wine

For those of us who can’t afford to go to Greece this summer, the 2012 Domaine Skouras Moscofilero ($15) is a not-half-bad substitute. This white beauty brings alternating waves of richness and crispness, and of decidedly sweet and tart flavors. There’s juicy stone fruit and great purity at its core, with spot-on acidity making for a mouth-watering texture. Try it with shrimp cocktail or shrimp anything, or wow your friends at the next Friday night fish fry.

Available at Oaks Wine and Spirits, Byerly’s/Lunds, Zipps, Little Wine Shoppe, Wine Thief, South Lyndale and Apollo (Rochester).
