Rooibos: South African herbal tea, also known as red bush tea.

Tisane: An infusion made from hot water and any plant material not from the camellia sinensis plant; technical term for herbal teas.

Kombucha: A fermented, naturally sparkling tea drink.

    Ready for a winter warmup? How you brew your cup of tea is very subjective. If the tea tastes good to you, you’re doing it right.

  • White tea: Prized for its subtle flavor and rareness, white tea does have a lighter shade than other teas.

  • Green Arrow: A high quality green tea with consistent form and a beautiful verdant color.

  • Pu erh: Typically a pressed tea, this aged, fermented dark tea has a strong pungeant taste and is touted for its health benefits. This particular version is pressed into bird nests, a form of good luck and fortune in China.

  • Ti Kuan Yin: The Iron Goddess of Mercy is one of the most famous oolong teas.

  • China Black Special: Within each type of tea is a range of colors, leaf shape and textures. This black tea has some brown and even white leaves.
