Granted, the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "Let's get Kinky" isn't likely to be a trip to the liquor store. But perhaps that will be the case now that there are two versions of the vodka-based liqueur from Crosby Lake Spirits Co. of Princeton, Minn.

In 2011, Crosby Lake brought out its vivid pink version of Kinky, a swirl of mango, passion fruit and blood orange flavors intended, presumably, for women.

Those who prefer not to sip pink now have an option with Kinky Blue, which debuted last summer with a new flavor (still fruity, but with berry overtones) and color.

Bottled in Minnesota, both are made from vodka produced from Midwestern grain. Serve as is or mixed with lemon-lime soda, or with a splash of something more serious, whether vodka, tequila or coconut rum.

$18.99 for 750 ml bottle; widely available.
