There’s something for everyone at the charming Harriet Brasserie, with choices along the lines of cheddar grits with crayfish and andouille sausage, a fully loaded crab Benedict and a pretty salad version of a smoked salmon-cream cheese bagel, with most prices falling in the $9-$11 range. 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Night owl Nightingale is now in the brunch business, and the $9-$13 menu is full of delicious ideas: shrimp with white grits, chive biscuits with ham and a mushroom gravy, masa cakes with slow-roasted pork shoulder and poached eggs and flapjacks with rhubarb compote. The bar keeps up with a half-dozen $8 midday cocktails. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
