John O'Brien's Chocolate Pudding Cake
Makes 1 (9-inch) cake.
Batter:
• 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
• 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
•3/4c. sugar
• 1 c. flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. salt
•1/2c. milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
•1/2c. chocolate chips, optional
Topping:
•1/2c. brown sugar
•1/2c. white sugar
•1/4c. unsweetened cocoa powder
• 11/4c. boiling water
