Ask us: Where to go on Sunday night?

Last update: April 2, 2003 - 10:00 PM

Q: What's a good reason to get out of the house on Sunday night?

A: Bouillabaisse at Bakery on Grand (3804 Grand Av. S., Minneapolis, 612-822-8260). The Provencal seafood stew is the star of a multicourse, family-style meal, which starts with pissaladiere and includes parsley potatoes and haricots verts, all served in a single 6 p.m. seating. No wine or beer yet -- that's about five weeks away -- but co-owner Doug Anderson is serving elderflower water while waiting for the license from City Hall. Because the dining room only seats about 30, reservations are required. Cost is $23 per person, no credit cards. 'We'll take cash, checks and the occasional I.O.U.,' said Anderson.
