Sales and events

It's time for kids' closets to get special treatment. Pacifier (310 E. Hennepin Av., Mpls., 612-623-8123) will be hosting a trunk show featuring Tea Collection's Japanese-inspired winter and holiday collection, for sizes 6 months to 8 years. Tonight (4 to 8 p.m.), Friday (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m), you'll get 10 percent off preorders and 20 percent off fall clothes from the line.

For its fall Hip Event (Friday and Saturday), Neiman Marcus (505 Nicollet Mall, Mpls., 612-339-2600) will be offering an Alice + Olivia bag filled with designer goodies to those who spend more than $500 in the contemporary or dress collections. Spend $1,000 and you'll receive an Alice + Olivia scarf. If you spend $500 on full-priced men's merchandise, you'll receive an exclusive red tie.

On Sept. 26, the second annual Yogapalooza will take place at Open Book (10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 1011 Washington Av. S., Mpls.). It will include two 60-minute yoga classes, live music, lunch, and a fashion show. Lululemon, CorePower Yoga, Foat Design, Karma and Swami Baby will be represented in the runway. Tickets are $35 in advance (www.survivorstraining.org) and $45 at the door. Proceeds benefit Survivors' Training, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about the importance of exercise for cancer survivors.
