It was standing room only at the pre-party for the premiere of "The Public Domain." The locally made movie, which follows the lives of several troubled people in the aftermath of the Interstate 35W bridge collapse, was written and directed by Patrick Coyle, one of Minnesota's most successful filmmakers.

Held at the Minneapolis home of Jeff Forester and Allison Rubin, the pre-party for the cast and crew, along with relatives and friends, featured drinks and homemade appetizers from a Kramarczuk's cookbook — a nod to the role the iconic Minneapolis deli plays in the film.

Attendees then headed to the Lagoon Cinema in Minneapolis for the premiere, where stars walked the red carpet. Lead actress Emily Bridges brought some star power to the sold-out showing: Her father, actor Beau Bridges, signed autographs and posed for photos with fans. The movie will continue showing at the Lagoon at least through April 9.
