Plymouth Avenue Art Studio in north Minneapolis went to the dogs — but just for one day. Students from Youth Art for Saving Minnesota Wolves showed their appreciation for the animal through an art show.

Wolf-themed artwork by more than 80 students from five Minnesota schools was auctioned at the event. Half the funds raised went to benefit the local nonprofit Howling for Wolves.

Minneapolis Police Department K-9 officers also made an appearance, along with K-9 officer Dutch, a two-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix. The officers demonstrated the important role that trained canines such as officer Dutch play in police investigations. Good boy!
