RN: Thumbs up to “Days of Our Lives” for keeping its gay couple — Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis, a k a “WilSon” — on the front burner. Thumbs down to “DOOL” for making its gay couple as boring as the show’s straight couples.

CP: Movies this year were about as gay as a Gopher men’s hockey game. “Kill Your Darlings” was an art-house “meh.” The terrific “Dallas Buyers Club” starred the year’s best homophobe, Matthew McConaughey.

RN: Celebrity — OK, semi-celebrity — gay weddings were all the rage. My favorite was Jim “Gomer Pyle” Nabors, who wedded his partner of 38 years. Shazam!

CP: The Liberace story in “Behind the Candelabra”? American gay kitsch at its apex.

RN: Marriage equality coming to New Jersey, Illinois and New Mexico was big news, of course, but Utah? That’s like John Boehner signing up for Obamacare.
