Continued: Back to work: Actor Patrick Swayze

Actor Patrick Swayze, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year, will begin shooting his new A&E series "The Beast" in Chicago this summer, the cable network has said. A&E ordered 13 episodes of the one-hour drama. The star of "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" shot the pilot, in which Swayze plays an unorthodox FBI agent, last December, months before his cancer diagnosis was reported. His physician Dr. George Fisher issued a hopeful statement, saying Swayze had "a very limited amount of disease" and appeared "to be responding well to treatment." IN THEIR WORDS: Two women who said they had affairs with former President Bill Clinton when he was the governor of Arkansas say they want to share their recollections of Clinton with the whole world via the Internet. All it takes to hear the lurid details of the encounters Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones say they had with Clinton in the early 1990s is $1.99 per video segment. "It's a way we can get our story out there in our own words, without someone making their own interpretations or corrections," Jones said. HOLDING EVERYTHING: A judge in New York has ordered rapper 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) not to dispose of the Long Island property where a $2.4 million house was destroyed by fire last month. State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead also ordered 50 Cent to put insurance proceeds in a trust account until his squabble with former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins is resolved. Tompkins says Jackson had promised her a house, but recently wanted to evict her and their son, Marquise, 10, from the house in Dix Hills, N.Y. A fire of suspicious origin destroyed the house on May 30. Tompkins, Marquise and four others were treated for smoke inhalation. IT'S A GIRL: Reality-show stars Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, hosts of "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," have added another branch to their family tree: Daughter Stella Doreen McDermott was born on Monday, weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces, at a Los Angeles hospital, Spelling's publicist said. She is the couple's second child. They have a son Liam Aaron, 1 year old.
