Blast Blow Dry Bar is opening two locations later this spring: at the Shops at West End in St. Louis Park and Aloft hotel in downtown Minneapolis. A traveling blow-dry service called Blast Off is part of the business plan, too, and will cater to events such as proms and weddings. $35. The Wow Bar is coming to the 50th & France shopping district and will boast an all-star team that includes one of the Twin Cities' best known stylists, Jason Deavalon, and beauty industry guru Rick Goldberg, who co-developed Cost Cutters, developed lines for Target and CVS, and has consulted with Aveda. $35. Lush Day Spa and Salon began offering a happy hour blow-dry bar last month to cater to busy downtown Minneapolis clients. From 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, professional blowouts are available for $25.
