On his own: It is no, no, no for Amy Winehouse at the Orpheum Theatre on Oct. 1 after she canceled concerts on doctors' orders, but her opening act, Paolo Nutini, known for the hit "New Shoes," will headline a show that night at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. Tickets go on sale next week. Tickets for the Winehouse show will be refunded. JON BREAM
Prognosis good: "The cancer is out of my body and I'm healing from the surgery," the "Good Morning America" co-host said Thursday. "Hopefully, the plan now is to keep it out." She announced July 31 that she had breast cancer and underwent surgery Aug. 3. Roberts, 46, said doctors will wait several weeks before having her undergo more treatment.
Pressure's on: Given the Grammy-winning success of previous "American Idol" winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks is feeling the pressure. "They've risen the bar so high and I'm like, 'I hope I can reach it,'" the bubbly 17-year-old said Wednesday. "Tattoo," a single from her CD, will be released on AOL's PopEater music blog today.
