SCOTT COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY FAMILY DAY

Enjoy the final days of summer by learning archery and hoop rolling. Other fitness fun includes foot races, a cake walk and croquet. The New Prague Area Community Band performs, and guests may take a leisurely paddle on the lake or join a pickup baseball game. (11 a.m.-4 p.m. next Sun. Free. Take a guided tour of Dakota City Heritage Village with costumed demonstrators and displays. Participate in hands-on activities with the locals while on the 90-minute stroll.
