Children's Museum ranks among nation's best Parents magazine is out with its list of the top children's museums, and the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul checks in at No. 10.

Top rating went to the Children's Museum of Houston.

To compile its rankings, the magazine researched museums nationwide to identify those with educational exhibits, healthy places for lunch, nursing areas, family restrooms and stroller parking. It also consulted with members of the Association of Children's Museums and, of course, parents.

The St. Paul museum was lauded for hosting the "Lego Castle Adventure" exhibit, which runs through Sept. 11, and its permanent galleries that appeal to "budding scientists."

The Madison (Wis.) Children's Museum ranked No. 5. Children's museums in Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Boston, Glenview, Ill., Pittsburgh, Phoenix and Rochester, N.Y., also made the list.
