

Bird photography is the subject of a recent post on the American Birding Association birding blog kept lively by a number of participants. Here are a couple of photos taken this morning of a pair of Red-tailed Hawks that are nesting in our neighborhood. Both birds are in/on the nest in the first photo, although the bird on the eggs is not visible. The bird on the nest edge, and then seen leaving the nest, had come to the nest with a food item.
