The YouTube link below shows a pair of Common Loons fighting, most likely over territory intrusion. The film was shot in New Hampshire. Toward the end you will see the aggressor dive, coming up beneath the intruding loon, and briefly resuming the battle. Watch the intruder when the aggressor dives for a second time.
