Can't quit collecting: Ribbons, textiles, buttons, glassware and chandeliers.

Drives: 1998 Dodge Caravan with all seats behind the driver removed. "Great for junking, dependable and no car payment!"

Grew up: New Hope.

In her earlier life: Support staff in Elk River schools for more than 16 years.

Family affair: Daughter Rachel, a jewelry maker/junker, sells and works at the shop; son Adam is chef for its culinary events; sisters Pat and Jeanne work there; grandson Henry, 2, is the "shop boy."

Indispensible tool: "Literally, my bolt cutter. Personally, my people skills and work ethic."

Favorite meal: Salmon with white butter sauce, green beans and a glass of Muscadet at Clementine on rue Bosquet in Paris.

What she'd save if the house were on fire: "My purse!"

Parlez-vous français? Loves the country; still learning the language.
