Avoiding kitchen mistakes
Are you considering a kitchen makeover? If so, you’re invited to a free design seminar at Crystal Kitchen Center.
Experts will share the 10 most common mistakes in kitchen design, as well as guidelines from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. You’ll learn about the latest cabinet accessories and appliances, universal design, green design and more.

Parkinson’s art fundraiser
If you’d like to invest in some artwork while supporting people with Parkinson’s disease, head to the Galleria on Friday for the Art of Parkinson’s, the first artists’ fundraiser of the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota.
Ten local artists from the Parkinson’s community will display paintings, sculptures, photography and crafted pieces, available for purchase. The $10 cost for the fundraiser includes light appetizers and soft drinks from Crave, as well as a Galleria coupon booklet.
The fundraiser will be held 3-7 p.m. Friday in the Galleria’s West Atrium, near the Louis Vuitton store. The Galleria is located at 69th and France Avenue S. in Edina.
